Stephen J. Evans, M.D., serves as Medical Director at Roscoe Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. Since joining the facility in November 2018, Dr. Evans has provided clinical leadership focused on delivering compassionate, resident-centered care while working collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to support the health and well-being of every resident.
Dr. Evans completed his education at Northwestern University, the University of Minnesota, and SUNY Buffalo, building a strong foundation for his career in medicine. He is a member of the American Medical Association (AMA) and remains committed to providing high-quality, evidence-based care while fostering strong relationships with residents and their families.
One of Dr. Evans’ favorite aspects of his role is spending time with residents and communicating with their families. He believes that open communication, trust, and collaboration are essential to providing exceptional care and helping residents achieve the highest possible quality of life.
Outside of work, Dr. Evans enjoys afforestation and environmental stewardship.
