Research has shown that post-acute rehabilitation after an injury or illness has can have a significant impact on the quality of your recovery. While staying at our facility, you will be cared for by physicians, registered nurses and rehabilitation personnel who specialize in physical medicine, rehabilitation and complex medical conditions.

One of the most important facets of our therapy program is practicing the skills you’ll need in order to safely return home. Speech Therapy
Our speech therapy services address communication, cognitive, and swallowing challenges that can occur after stroke, neurological conditions, or prolonged illness. Our Speech-Language Pathologists complete in-house diagnostic swallow evaluations, allowing us to develop personalized rehabilitative swallow plans without the need for outside appointments.

From the moment you arrive, our goal is to guide you on a personalized path toward recovery and a safe return home. Our interdisciplinary team — including doctors, nurses, therapists, dietitians, and support staff — works together to design a care plan tailored to your needs. Every step of the way, we focus on maximizing your independence, building strength and confidence, and ensuring a smooth transition back into the community.

Discharge from the facility is typically available Monday through Thursday between the hours of 8AM-4PM. In order to ensure a safe discharge, Friday and weekend discharges are typically not available due to accessibility of homecare and equipment services on weekends. Our nursing and therapy teams will schedule any family training that may be needed before your discharge date. We will also order all medications and assist in coordinating follow-up appointments with your primary care physician and other providers.
If you’re considering elective surgery, pre-planning your stay will allow you to seamlessly transition from the hospital to our facility.
