Kellie Burridge, RN, serves as Director of Nursing at Brookhaven Health Care Facility. Having joined the organization in 1989, Kellie brings more than three decades of experience and institutional knowledge to her leadership role. Throughout her career at Brookhaven, she has advanced through a variety of clinical and leadership positions, including Certified Nursing Assistant, Licensed Practical Nurse, Unit Coordinator, Clinical Instructor, Associate Director of Quality and Education, and Assistant Director of Nursing. Her progression through these roles has provided her with a comprehensive understanding of resident care and nursing operations.

Kellie earned her Associate Degree in Nursing from Excelsior College and is currently pursuing her Bachelor of Science in Nursing through Post University. She is actively involved in several professional organizations, including the American Nurses Association, the American Association of Post Acute Care Nursing, and the Long Island Chapter of the Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology.

One of Kellie’s favorite aspects of her role is interacting with residents and patients and building meaningful connections with those in her care. She is dedicated to fostering a supportive environment where residents receive compassionate, high-quality care and where staff are empowered to succeed.

Outside of work, Kellie enjoys traveling with her family and spending time reading.
