Katie Dembik, RN, serves as Director of Nursing at Harris Hill Nursing Facility. Throughout her career with the organization, Katie has demonstrated a strong commitment to clinical excellence and leadership, advancing through several key positions including Nursing Supervisor and Associate Director of Subacute Rehabilitation. Her experience in these roles has provided her with a comprehensive understanding of resident care, team development, and clinical operations.
Katie earned her Associate Degree in Nursing from Erie Community College and has continued to build her expertise through professional development, including wound care certification. She is also involved with the New York State Health Facilities Association (NYSHFA), reflecting her commitment to staying engaged with industry best practices.
One of Katie’s favorite aspects of her role is the family-like environment found within long-term care. She is passionate about educating, mentoring, and supporting nursing professionals as they grow in their careers, while ensuring residents receive compassionate, high-quality care. Her leadership style emphasizes teamwork, collaboration, and continuous learning.
Outside of work, Katie enjoys spending time with her children, reading, and walking. Her dedication to both her family and her profession reflects the caring and supportive approach she brings to her role each day.
