Kathryn Mulkey, FNP-BC, serves as a Family Nurse Practitioner at Sunset Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. With more than 23 years of nursing experience, Kathryn brings extensive clinical expertise and a compassionate, resident-centered approach to care. Much of her nursing career has been spent in critical care and emergency medicine, where she developed strong clinical judgment, the ability to excel in high-acuity environments, and a steadfast commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
In 2019, Kathryn earned her Master of Science as a Family Nurse Practitioner, expanding her ability to provide comprehensive, patient-centered healthcare. Since becoming a nurse practitioner, she has gained experience in urology and has spent nearly four years caring for residents in the long-term care setting. Her focus is on managing complex chronic conditions, improving quality of life, and partnering with residents and their families to achieve the best possible outcomes.
Kathryn is passionate about delivering high-quality, compassionate medical care while building meaningful relationships with those she serves. She believes that listening, educating, and supporting residents and their loved ones are essential components of exceptional healthcare.
