Director of Nursing, Autumn View Health Care Facility
Julie A. English, RN, BSN, serves as Director of Nursing at Autumn View Health Care Facility. She joined the organization in July 2002 and brings more than two decades of experience within the facility. Over the course of her career, Julie has held several roles, including Certified Nursing Assistant, Licensed Practical Nurse, and RN Supervisor for more than six years, providing her with a comprehensive understanding of resident care and clinical operations.
Julie earned her RN and BSN degrees from Trocaire College and has continued to grow her expertise throughout her career. She is also a certified Mental Health First Responder, reflecting her commitment to supporting both residents and staff in meaningful ways.
She is passionate about making positive changes that improve the lives of residents while also supporting and empowering her team. Julie values creating an environment where both residents and employees feel respected, supported, and cared for.
Julie has two sons, David, who is a Doctor of Physical Therapy and Michael, who is a Photographer. Outside of work, she enjoys watching movies, relaxing with television, and spending time on her own to recharge.
