Edward Farbenblum, Esq.

Edward Farbenblum is Principal and Chief Strategy Officer of The McGuire Group, Inc., a healthcare management company that operates and provides back-office services to a network of skilled nursing facilities and healthcare enterprises. A seasoned healthcare attorney and strategist, Edward has been at the forefront of some of the industry’s most complex restructurings and public-private partnerships.

In 2020, he was appointed Administrative Servicer of six bankrupt Absolut Care facilities, a role endorsed by the Department of Health, major creditors, and the bankruptcy court—widely viewed as the only viable path to saving the homes from closure. He also partnered with Catholic Health System to launch the nation’s first COVID-only nursing home, the St. Joseph’s Post-Acute Center.

Prior to joining The McGuire Group, Edward practiced law at a top national firm, specializing in healthcare, regulatory, and transactional matters. He is a member of the New York Bar and is admitted to multiple federal courts. He also holds a New York State real estate broker license.

Edward has served as Trustee of the 1199SEIU Regional Pension Fund (Upstate NY) and Chairman of Nassau Health Care Corporation. He is active on several faith-based educational boards and is a member of the Young Presidents’ Organization.
