Dr. Zerline Snyderman is a physician licensed in New York State since 1996. She is Board Certified in Internal Medicine continuously for 30 years and Board Certified as a Diplomate in Geriatric Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Dr. Snyderman completed her Internal Medicine residency at the State University of New York at Buffalo. She is a fellowship-trained Geriatrician, and completed her two-year fellowship at the State University at Buffalo, where she was appointed to her first medical director position during her second year of fellowship at the VA Medical Center in Buffalo. In 2011, Dr. Snyderman was elected to Fellowship by the American College of Physicians, a peer-reviewed credential that is a public reflection of excellence within the internal medicine profession. Dr. Snyderman is a Certified Medical Director of the American Board of Post-Acute and Long-term Care Medicine, which signifies expertise in clinical and leadership roles within the post-acute or rehabilitation care and long-term care. Dr. Snyderman is Wound Care Certified by the National Alliance of Wound Care and Ostomy.
Dr. Snyderman has served the residents of the McGuire Group since 1997 when she became an attending physician at Seneca Health Care Center. She is the medical director of Seneca Health Care Facility since 2000. She was the medical director at Harris Hill Nursing Facility (August 2006 to May 2011), Garden Gate Health Care Facility (May 2015 to November 2022) and Northgate Health Care Facility (June 2015 to April 2023). What she enjoys most about being a physician and medical director of the McGuire Group is the thought of being a part of something big, contributing to the lives of so many individuals in the facility who need our care and organization, and knowing that the leadership and owners truly care about quality. She enjoys the interdisciplinary aspect of the work as a geriatrician and medical director, taking part in the care of the individual nursing facility resident as part of a bigger team, whose members all contribute together from different expertise in their fields.
Dr. Snyderman is a member of the American College of Physicians, the Post-acute and Long-Term Care Medical Association and the New York Society for Post-acute and Long-Term Care. As a member of the New York Medical Directors Association, COVID-19 Strikeforce formed from a grant from New York State, she was the lead physician coach for WNY Buffalo Region in 2023 to 2024.
Dr. Snyderman is an associate medical staff member of Kaleida Health and courtesy medical staff member of Catholic Health System and ECMC.
Dr. Snyderman has a rescue dog that she and her late husband, Michael adopted and named Doc Watson three years ago. She loves their long walks and cuddles.
