Ray Ogra, M.D., serves as a Hospitalist at Autumn View, Garden Gate Harris Hill and Seneca, bringing decades of experience in internal medicine and post-acute care. A member of Buffalo Medical Group since 1999, Dr. Ogra is dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered care while working closely with the interdisciplinary team to promote the health, safety, and well-being of every resident.
Dr. Ogra earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University at Buffalo School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences. He completed his specialty training in Internal Medicine through the University at Buffalo and its affiliated hospitals. In addition to his clinical practice, he serves as an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine at the University at Buffalo School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, helping to educate and mentor future physicians.
Throughout his career, Dr. Ogra has held several leadership roles, including Co-Associate Medical Director for Inpatient and Subacute Medicine at Buffalo Medical Group. He is a member of the American College of Physicians, the American Medical Association, and the Society of Hospital Medicine. His professional interests include palliative care medicine, pain management, and patient safety.
One of Dr. Ogra’s most memorable experiences as a physician was caring for his high school principal. He is passionate about building trust with residents and their families while providing thoughtful, individualized care that supports the highest possible quality of life.
Outside of work, Dr. Ogra enjoys traveling, with Nevada being one of his favorite destinations, and watching Arnold Schwarzenegger films.
