Andrew Dlugosz, M.D., provides clinical leadership and partners with interdisciplinary teams to promote high-quality, resident-centered care at Garden Gate Health Care Facility and Harris Hill Nursing Facility. A Western New York native, Dr. Dlugosz is passionate about improving the health and well-being of the communities he serves through compassionate, evidence-based medicine and collaborative care.
Dr. Dlugosz earned his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with Pre-Medical Sciences, graduating magna cum laude from Canisius University. He received his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University at Buffalo Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences and completed his Family Medicine residency at UB Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital, where he served as Chief Resident.
In addition to his role with Garden Gate and Harris Hill, Dr. Dlugosz serves as Chair of Clinical Integration for Primary Care IPA (PCIPA) and Chair of Medical Operations for Honest Health ACO REACH WNY. He is also a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Family Medicine at the University at Buffalo School of Medicine and a Clinical Assistant Professor and Adjunct Guest Lecturer at Daemen University. Throughout his career, he has remained committed to medical education, community service, and advancing primary care through leadership, teaching, and innovation.
Dr. Dlugosz has been recognized with numerous honors, including being named a Buffalo Spree Top Family Doctor from 2021 through 2025 and The Buffalo News’ Best of 716 Favorite Physician from 2022 through 2024. His additional recognitions include the Blue Cross Blue Shield Best in Practice Award, induction into the Gold Humanism Honor Society, the Erie County Chapter of the New York State Academy of Family Physicians Award of Excellence in Primary Care, and recognition as one of Canisius University’s “Griffs Under 40.”
Dr. Dlugosz believes his role as a physician extends beyond treating illness—he strives to be his patients’ “life co-pilot,” helping them live healthier, happier lives while using as little medicine as possible. He values building lasting relationships with residents and families and believes that listening, education, and collaboration are the foundation of exceptional healthcare.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Dlugosz enjoys spending time with his two children, discovering new restaurants, running, attending live music events, and challenging friends to a game of cards. His love for Western New York and dedication to serving the community continue to inspire his work each day.
