Deepesh Patel, M.D., serves as Medical Director at Taconic Rehabilitation and Nursing at Beacon. Appointed to the role in July, Dr. Patel previously served as an attending physician for the facility’s Dutchess Unit, where he earned the trust of residents, families, and staff through his compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.
Dr. Patel graduated with honors from New York Medical College in 1997, earning his Doctor of Medicine degree. Throughout his career, he has remained dedicated to providing comprehensive internal medicine services with a focus on improving the health and well-being of older adults.
Dr. Patel has extensive experience in chronic disease management, preventive medicine, and developing individualized treatment plans that address each resident’s unique needs. He is highly skilled in the management of complex medical conditions, including diabetes, hypertension, and cardiovascular disease. By combining evidence-based medicine with advanced diagnostic techniques, he strives to achieve the best possible outcomes while enhancing each resident’s quality of life.
One of Dr. Patel’s greatest priorities is building lasting relationships with residents and their families. He believes that education, communication, and collaboration are essential components of exceptional healthcare and is committed to empowering residents with the knowledge and resources they need to make informed decisions about their health.
Outside of work, Dr. Patel enjoys skiing.
