Christina Antoine, M.D., M.H.S.A., M.B.A., serves as Medical Director at Taconic Rehabilitation and Nursing at Ulster. A board-certified Internal Medicine physician, Dr. Antoine brings extensive experience in hospital medicine, long-term care, urgent care, telemedicine, and clinical leadership throughout the Hudson Valley. In addition to her role at Taconic Rehabilitation and Nursing at Ulster, she also provides care at other Taconic facilities, helping to advance quality, resident-centered care across the organization.
Dr. Antoine earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from the American University of Antigua College of Medicine. She also holds a Master of Health Services Administration from St. Joseph’s College of Maine, a Master of Business Administration from Davenport University, and an Associate of Applied Science in Respiratory Therapy from Nassau Community College. She completed her Internal Medicine residency at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center in Brooklyn, where she later served as Chief Resident. Dr. Antoine is currently pursuing her Certified Medical Director (CMD) credential through PALTmed.
In addition to her clinical leadership, Dr. Antoine is the founder of a hybrid multidisciplinary medical practice focused on clinical care and clinical research. Her work emphasizes strengthening transitions of care, advancing innovative, evidence-based approaches to elder care, and reducing avoidable emergency department visits and hospitalizations.
Dr. Antoine’s favorite aspect of practicing medicine is caring for patients with the time and dignity they deserve. She believes deeply in respectful, unrushed, patient-centered care and values building meaningful relationships with residents, families, and the interdisciplinary team to support the best possible outcomes.
Outside of work, Dr. Antoine enjoys spending time with her spouse, children, three dogs, two cats, and nineteen chickens, who bring joy, purpose, and plenty of entertainment to her life.
