Bernadette Dwyer, FNP-BC, serves as a Family Nurse Practitioner at Taconic Rehabilitation and Nursing at Hopewell. She joined the facility in January 2025 and brings a strong clinical background and compassionate approach to resident care. As a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner, Bernadette is committed to delivering thoughtful, patient-centered care that supports the overall well-being of those she serves.
She earned her Master’s degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Utica University and is a member of the American Nurses Association (ANA). Her education and professional involvement reflect her dedication to maintaining high standards in nursing practice and lifelong learning.
Bernadette’s favorite aspect of her role is helping and caring for people, especially being able to make them happy and improve their quality of life. She values building trust with residents and families and believes that kindness and attentiveness are at the heart of excellent care.
Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, cleaning, and spending time with her family.
