Benezir Khattir, MD, serves as Medical Director at Taconic Rehabilitation and Nursing at Hopewell. She joined the facility in September 2025 and brings a strong clinical background and commitment to patient-centered care to her role. Prior to joining the team, she served as a Medical Resident Doctor with Texas Health Resources in Dallas, Texas, where she gained valuable experience caring for diverse patient populations.
Dr. Khattir earned her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from Dhaka University. She is an active member of several professional organizations, including the American College of Physicians (ACP), the American Medical Association (AMA), and ANMF.
She is deeply committed to being present for her patients when they need her most, approaching her work with compassion, attentiveness, and professionalism. Dr. Khattir believes that genuine care and strong communication are at the heart of quality healthcare.
