Barinder Dhaliwal, RN, BSN, serves as Director of Nursing at Taconic Rehabilitation and Nursing at Hopewell. Since joining the facility in September 2012, Barinder has grown professionally alongside the organization, advancing through several clinical and leadership roles including Floor Nurse, Nursing Supervisor, Assistant Director of Nursing, and ultimately Director of Nursing. Her experience at multiple levels of nursing provides her with a well-rounded understanding of resident care, staff development, and clinical operations.
Barinder earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Aspen University and is a member of the American Nurses Association (ANA). Her education and years of hands-on experience have helped shape a leadership style centered on collaboration, mentorship, and compassionate care.
One of Barinder’s favorite aspects of her role is making a positive difference in residents’ lives while mentoring and supporting her nursing team. She is committed to helping staff grow professionally and providing the guidance and resources they need to deliver the highest level of compassionate care.
Barinder is deeply committed to fostering a supportive and caring environment for both residents and staff. She is proud to have grown with the facility since 2012 and values the relationships she has built throughout this time.
