Aurene C. Alcasabas, M.D., has been providing care at Brookhaven Health Care Facility since 2019. As a physician, Dr. Alcasabas is committed to delivering compassionate, individualized care while working collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to support the health and well-being of every resident.
Dr. Alcasabas earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Fairfield University before receiving her Doctor of Medicine from Saint Louis University, Philippines. She completed Family Medicine residency at Brookhaven Hospital. She is affiliated with the American Academy of Family Physicians and the American Board of Quality Assurance & Utilization Review Physicians. Her background in family medicine allows her to provide comprehensive care tailored to the unique needs of older adults.
One of Dr. Alcasabas’ favorite aspects of her role is the teamwork shared among the facility’s caregivers. She enjoys collaborating with dedicated colleagues to make a meaningful difference in the lives of residents and values the opportunity to provide care that enhances their quality of life.
Outside of work, Dr. Alcasabas enjoys playing mind games and exercising.
